Privacy policy for the use of Crowd-based Data Collection solution
Crowd-based Data Collection Mobile Application is the user application to use the Crowd-based Data Collection solution.
Identification of the application
The mobile application is edited by TDK InvenSense and shared on the mobile applications stores (Android Play and Apple Store) under the name "Crowd-based Data Collection". Its acronym is "CDC".
Privacy Policy
TDK InvenSense is in the process of developing and refining our
sensor algorithms for improved performance. This app will enable us to
collect raw data from sensors embedded in your mobile device.
Participation in this program and use of this mobile app is entirely
voluntary. If you are willing to allow your mobile device data to be for
our development purposes, in the Mobile Application, click "ACCEPT" to
indicate your consent to these terms:
By registering and indicating my acceptance of these terms, I consent
to the collection and processing by TDK InvenSense of raw sensor data from
my mobile device (the “sensor data”) for the creation of a database that
will be used exclusively for the development of TDK InvenSense software
(“Software”) for use in TDK InvenSense products.
I understand that and consent to:

My sensor data will be collected and processed for the research and development of the Software, including but not limited to the design and validation of algorithms.

My sensor data will be pseudonymized so that I will not be identifiable from the pseudonymized data being used to develop the algorithm. The pseudonymized data will only be re-identified to me if there is a need for the project to contact me in connection with this project.

TDK InvenSense and its contractors working on the Software will have access to my sensor data. All contractors working on the Software are contractually obligated to protect the confidentiality of my sensor data, including taking security measures designed to prevent the unauthorized access, disclosure or use of my sensor data.

After the Software has been fully developed and my sensor data is no longer needed for support of the Software, my data may be stored on TDK InvenSense's and its subcontractors' systems to be reused.

My sensor data will be protected using security measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure or use, including but not limited to restricted access and encryption.

My sensor data will not be used for any other purpose which is not listed herein.

My participation in the Software testing is voluntary and not a condition of my employment with TDK InvenSense and my participation, or lack thereof, will not affect my employment in any way.

How to delete my account and the associated data?
To request the deletion of your account and data, please just request deletion by email at inv-support.cdc@tdk.com.
The data will be deleted within 2 working days.
This will be applied to all the data associated to the Crowd-based Data Collection solution edited by TDK InvenSense.
